Im doing a 30 stories in 30 days challenge to help break through some writers block. This works just as advertised and has helped immensely with idea generation.

While the dice are great, I feel like there is misleading information about this app. I felt like the descriptions led me to believe I could write the story or do journal entries right in the app as the dice come up. I really didnt want to carry a notebook along!

I am an ESL teacher and this app helps my students to be less self-conscious (one of the biggest stumbling blocks in 2nd language learning). They all clamor to tell stories, now.

Good app to get the ideas flowing.

Unlike most apps, Storydice is an app that requires you use your imagination. I love using this with my kids for collaborative storytelling and iPad sharing fun.

Family fun, knocking around story ideas or trying to look at a piece from another perspective, or cranking out rpg ideas, this app packs some bang for its buck. A history function and the ability to order dice on the board would be great.

Very interesting as group entertainment, including family activities. Updates make additional pictures available.

Nice app! Just essential but a funny way to take inspiration for storytellers.

This is a cool tool that is better and faster than flash cards. There are great tips included for games and educational purposes.

This is really great app for people with a lot of imagination and creativities that will work great in a single or multi played settings. User who doesnt have many imagination and not familiar with what these app suppose to do might find it hard,boring or confusing.

We have had a lot of fun with this app. Neighborhood kids and parents sit around the fire pit telling the most imaginitive and funny stories! My son (8) was showing this app to his friends on the playground today, and they were quite entertained.

What a great app! It really moves you in the creative direction and is fun at the same time! I love it and so do my kids. 5 stars!

I think this app is incredibly useful but you need to have a clear understanding of its implications and intended uses before you buy. The dice inlcudes pictograms that are designed to be easily identified without the need for reading tasks. I think this app is a great tool for teachers, parents, or therapists to use when guiding students in creative narritive activities. The app on its own may be confusing to students. Simple and easy to use! --

This is a great application; however, I do not believe it is suitable for children beginning at 3+ without additional instruction. I believe that age would need a lot verbal instruction & prompting to use this application & it might be a little frustrating. For older kiddos, say 5+, this would be a great application to use for the multiple game ideas suggested! I am glad it is another tool I can use for the kiddos trying to expand utterances.

I really enjoyed this app. It offers many story plots with the dice. I really liked that you can change the option of how many dice you can use from one dice to ten. This app can be used in many settings from preschool to highschool depending on how you wish to use this app.

Great story dice app! There are a lot of different pictures which makes for a lot of different stories to be told! I love that you can choose how many dice you want (1-10) so I can adjust it based on how many players we have, how long we want the story to be, and the ages of the players. The tip sheet has many many great ideas on how to use the dice!

The psychologist at school recommended my son use story dice to improve expressive communication. She had a package of dice. But, I decided to download this app instead. It has a much larger variety of pictures than just a few dice on hand. I love to make up silly stories with my children using Story Dice! Thanks for helping us get creative:)

What an innovative way to integrate technology and creativity into speaking, listening, and writing activities. I like the flexibility of increasing the number of dice to differentiate varying learning levels and as content progresses throughout the school year! Thanks do much Thinkamingo!
