This app has great potential to work on a wide range of speech/language skills including sequencing, narratives, complex sentence forms and word retrieval. It could also be used to work on articulation carryover at a conversation level.

This app has been great for increasing MLU and targeting narrative objectives.

Great app for daily writing. I have written several stories based ion inspiration i got from this app.

The app is ok, I would like to be able to Shuffle the rolled set like word with friends, or manipulate the set with your finger

As an OT, I use this to help my students write original sentences to work on visual memory for letter forms and the mechanics of good handwriting without copying. Its a favorite app for my 4-8th grade students

This is one of the all-time great not-sure-what-to-do-with-it-but-glad-it-exists apps. I bought it because Im a writer and a sucker for any kind of writing tools, but as a writer of non-fiction I havent had occasion to use it; I didnt think Id have a strict "business need" for it. It has nevertheless been a terrific tool. To me, one of the challenges of writing is confronting the ease of pretending to write: sitting at the computer answering email, playing games, tidying up the desk, etc. Playing around with the Story Dice is perfect. Ill pick one, or pick several, or make up a piece of a story and challenge myself to complete with additional dice. Its a great break "from writing" while challenging and engaging me creatively. I typically leave these short sessions feeling mentally limber and ready for my "actual" task.

My daughters think this is a great activity. It really challenges them in a fun way. I’ve recommended it to their school.

It has potential but is just like many other creative writing tools in iOS, it lacks customization and what you get is just a toy. It would be nice if I could change the graphics in the dice by adding photos or words. The only important setting it has, is to control the number of dices it rolls. As it is now, is too generic and simple for writers.

Im an illustrator and this app really helping me. Just a simple design but so great imagination to play with. This helping me create a great story to share everyday ;)

I like this app because its a clever way to get your brain juices flowing, but I agree with some other reviewers about the fact that its not very good if youre trying to write a story. A lengthy story, anyway. For short-one-page-long-stories, this app can be lots of fun. This app is great, though, to play with your friends and play games with.

This app works well in my digital media class when needing story ideas. The shake doesnt work that well for us but just touching the screen works just as great.
